Biography

Patrik Zeiter, born in 1970 in Lausanne, Switzerland, is a highly accomplished materials science engineer with a master’s degree from ETH Lausanne. He has served as the Head of Foundational Research and IP Rights at R. Nussbaum AG in Olten since 2001.   Before joining R. Nussbaum AG, Patrik Zeiter was a Senior Manager at Amcor Flexibles, where he advanced pharmaceutical packaging solutions. With over three decades of experience, he has led innovations in construction, digitalization, and materials science, focusing on optimizing water distribution networks through digital technologies.   Patrik Zeiter is also involved in Innosuisse projects, collaborating with institutions like HSLU and FHNW. His expertise spans materials science, digital business transformation, intellectual property, and innovation management in building technology.   His key innovations include a lead-free drinking water copper alloy (CC246E), a nickel-free stainless steel water system (1.4521), decentralized hot water production with heat pumps, and a model for ensuring hygienic water quality.   Patrik Zeiter also serves on the Cooperative Council of Migros Cooperative Aare and has furthered his education at HSLU in Blockchain technology, Artificial Intelligence, and completed a CAS diploma. He is recognized as a bridge-builder between German- and French-speaking Switzerland, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Patrik Zeiter also serves as vice president in the Cooperative Council of Migros Cooperative Aare.
